Winter Holiday Christmas Snowman Cake Pops
Snowman Cake Pops

Lets Make some “Snowman Cake Pops!” These cake pops are great for the wintery, Christmas, and holiday season!

You Will Need:

Easy Roller …or our new Mini Easy Roller! (optional, but WE recommend it;)!

  • Box Cake Mix of your choice (Or your favorite recipe …or leftover cupcakes or cake scraps!)
  • 3 Eggs
  • Water
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Chocolate Candy waffers
  • White Chocolate Almond Bark or Candy Melts
  • Red Candy Melts
  • Orange Candy Melts or candy color
  • Black edible marker, or black candy melts, or candy color
  • Mini Reese’s Candy
  • Snowflake Sprinkles
  • Cake Pop Sticks
  • Wax paper

Making the Cake Pop Dough

This can be store bought, your best recipe or a simple box cake mix. Once you have your Cake the next step is knead it down to dough. To do this, just crumble it down and knead those crumbs by hand with just enough frosting (or binder of your choice) into a “Play-doh” like consistency. If you don’t want to knead the cake by hand, give the food processor a try! I always use my Food Processor. It’s so much faster! A mixer with the paddle attached works just fine as well! It only takes a minute or two to go through these steps!

First it will break down into fine crumbs, then they start to stick to each other and form a bit bigger of a crumb and finally, if you leave it in long enough it will turn into a big ball of dough all by itself!

Rolling Cake Balls

The next step in creating these Snowmen Cake Pops is to roll the cake dough into rounds. Have you seen the Easy Roller? It will roll 21 cake pop rounds at a time! That means you will be done with this step a snap! First, measure the dough into the frame (provided). Then place the measured dough into the Easy Roller to be cut into dough logs. Then turn those logs the other way on the Easy Roller and slide just a few times! This will yield 21 cake pop rounds! Here is a 30 second demo… See for yourself:)! It is also interchangeable! I have a smaller 1 inch ball insert, a larger 1.5 inch ball insert and even a cupcake shape!

For these snowman cake pops, I made the bottom cake pop with the standard 1.25 inch ball (about the size of a pong pong ball) and the tops were 1 inch round balls (about the size of a whopper candy!)

Cake Pop Tips & Tricks

Cake pops are easiest dipped cold. However, if the dough is too cold you will find your cake pops cracked after the chocolate has set. Cake pops actually have the best outcome if they are dipped at room temperature, So if you are going to refrigerated them for ease of dipping, just make them cold enough to where you are comfortable dipping them. For this project I would say refrigerate them until you get all your toppings prepared:)!

Getting Prepared

The first step in decorating these Snowman cake pops is getting all your “pieces” together! We have the Hat, nose, eyes and mouth! Let’s start with the snowman’s hat!

The Hat

Snowman-hat-and-cake-balls-for-the-cake-pops

On a peice of wax paper, start to building the hats! To make these, first set the chocolate wafer down, flat side on the wax paper. Next melt the red candy melts (on 50% power or defrost in the microwave) for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Then repeat in 30 second increments until the candy melts become fluid. Then transfer the melts into a sandwich bag and cut the tip. Now put a healthy dollop of the red candy melts in the center of the chocolate wafer. Add enough on the candy wafer so when you place the mini Reese’s on top it, the red candy melts Ooze around the base of the mini Reese’s! Place it on top, upside down! Now add a snowflake sprinkle and let the red candy melt set and all those pieces are fused together.

The nose and mouth can wait till you are done dipping the cake pops, but I wanted to talk about them before moving too far ahead.

For the Nose

We are going to melt just a few wafers of the orange melts. Since there is just a few, melt them in the microwave right in the sandwich bag. However, this time, 50% power in 30 second increments. If you have candy colors handy (they are not that handy, just online or possibly your local craft store!) you can put a few drops in your left over white and make your own orange!

For the Mouth

I have edible markers, I have been doing this a while;) But if you don’t, you can do the same thing as the orange. Just heat up a little bit of the black candy melts in the sandwich bag. I will say black is even harder to find if you didn’t pick some up after Halloween!!) If that is the case for you and can’t find any, the milk chocolate will work just as good and taste even better!

Lets Start Dipping Cake Pops!

Next melt the white candy melts (on 50% power or defrost in the microwave) for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Then repeat in 30 second increments until the candy melts become fluid. Then dip the cake pop stick into the candy melts and then into the cake ball. This will act as glue for the stick! Continue until all the larger pops have sticks! When that “glue” sets its time to dip the entire pop into the candy melts. Tap off any excess and place it upright to set. As it is still wet, add the smaller cake ball to the top. Continue this until all the larger cake balls are dipped and the smaller (naked) ones are on top.

Once all those have set, go back around and dip the tops into the candy melts. Place those back on a cake pop stand to set up. But before they set completely, add your pre-assembled hats!

Now you are almost there!

All that is left is to add the Eyes, mouth and Nose! Just dot the Black candy melts, milk chocolate or use the edible marker to put small dots for the Eyes and mouth.

The nose…

Take the Orange candy melts you melted and wait for them to cool off a bit in the zip lock bag. The cooler the melts are the faster it will set up and the thicker it will come out (with control). I like to make tiny circles for the base and kinda wiggle it out for some depth, and hold it until it sets up enough to hold a carrot shape 🙂

Lets Make some “Worms and Dirt Cake Pops! These cake pops are great for beginners!

You Will Need:

  • Box Cake Mix of your choice (Or your favorite recipe) …or leftover cupcakes or cake scraps!
  • 3 Eggs

  • Cake Pop Sticks
  • Gummy Worms

Oreo Crusted Cake Pops start out like all other cake pops, with a baked cake!

First it will break down into fine crumbs, then they start to stick to each other and form a bit bigger of a crumb and finally, if you leave it in long enough it will turn into a big ball of dough all by itself!

Rolling Cake Balls

The next step in creating these worms and dirt Cake Pops is to roll the cake dough into rounds.

You guessed it, next step, get all your Oreo’s and crumble them up!!  I use the food processor for this! However, if you don’t have one, don’t worry, you can put them in a large freezer bag and crumb them by rolling over them with your rolling pin!

If you are able to put them into the food processor, just put the whole cookie in there and turn it on until they looked like this…

  • Oreos
  • Crushed Oreos in the food processor

Place these into a bowl and get a spoon for it (unless you want your hands to be full of crumbs)!

For these cake pops I cut the gummy worms in half. If I left them whole they were just too long and I thought they looked a little funny. So the easiest solutions was to just cut each worm into 2! Set these aside so they are ready to go when you need them!

Next put your candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Then place it in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute to melt it down.  If the candy melts are still not yet melted, put them back into the microwave at 50% power for 30 second increments until it is melted.

Putting it all together

Get your cake balls out of the refrigerator and dip your cake pop stick into the melted chocolate and then into the cake pop. Now dip the entire cake pop into the melted chocolate. Tap off the excess!

Then immediately dip your pop into the cookie crumbs.  They will stick to your wet candy melts!  Roll it around in the bowl and when you have gotten the base coated, tap off the excess cookie crumbs.

Then take your gummy worm piece and place it at the top, near the stick . Now you just place them on the wax paper to set.

Pinterest Templates

in Cake Pop Decorating Tutorials / by jcucci2727
May 11, 2020

I just wanted to take a moment and talk about the importance of Pinterest Templates. Pinterest is a platform I didn’t really use or pay much attention to until recently. Huge Mistake! There is an insane number of users here! I was just sort of adding a picture and link when I had something new to share (if I got around to it).

Recently I have discovered these Pinterest Templates through a class I was taking! Wow! Game Changer. My content is really starting to reach people! I am using Canva to create these “fancy new pins” that are getting some traction. For now I am using the free version they offer to get to know the software and I was also was spending some time to create new pins. Its relatively simple but being new to the program I was struggling to get the look I wanted in a reasonable amount of time. Who has hours to create 1 pin… Oh Wait, Quarantine;)!

Well, I also have Easy Rollers to ship, Facebook to manage, cake pops to make/ photograph, home-school during this Covid-19 time, a million meals to cook for the 5 us (which means a sink full of dishes that never end)! So I needed a bit of a short cut here! What I found were 103 Canva Pinterest templates! These templates were designed by a Pinterest Super Star & have the look I was trying to create! But it was taking me FOREVER to do by myself!!

I am a DIY girl, but prioritizing my time in order to get through my workflow is essential! I mean, that is what the Easy Roller is all about! How else can you roll 500 balls in less than an hour? Without paying a few people to help you, anyway? These employee cost or if you are lucky, exploiting a friends kindness, gets old fast! That is how value is found in this “plastic, hand powered tool.” You will pay for the Easy Roller in a busy 8 hour day!

Slutty brownie cake pop Balls in Easy Roller

I feel the same about these Pinterest Templates I found! What took hours, now takes minutes! This give me more and ultimate adds to my bottom line! Far and away worth the $97 fee to have over 100 templates available to customize at a moments notice!

I would also like to share with you some progress photos. Who doesn’t love progress photos! You can see just how important it is to put some effort into the pin’s you are pinning!

OK, Here is where I started from. This was just February 15, 2020!

This is just shy of 3 months later, today May 11, 2020!

Just LOOK at those numbers!! That is crazy! Impressions from 27k to 210k!! Audience 21k to 161k and engagements from under 1,ooo to almost 6,000!! Incredible!! Take all my money right now!! And this is just the beginning! I have only really just started updating my pins!!!

I have a few more “in between” screenshots if you are curious. The growth from using these Templates have been nothing short of amazing, in my opinion!

I hope you give these new Templates a try! I’d love to see your progress as well! You can send me a message on Facebook or Pinterest! I will see them there first:).  Also, don’t forget to check out my Easy Roller too! Because that’s how we keep these posts coming 🙂

Slutty Brownie Pops

April 16, 2020

Slutty Brownie Pops! Have you ever heard of Slutty Brownies? How about Cake Pops? Well this is the Cake Pop twist on this popular new desert trend.

Here is what you need:

  • Slutty Brownies cake pops Ingredients
  • Brownie Mix (eggs, water and oil)
  • Oreo’s
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Brown Sugar
  • Flour
  • Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Salt
  • White Candy Melts
  • Cake Pop Sticks
Brownie Mix ingredients

I started with the brownie mix! Followed the directions on the box and within about 20 minutes I had Brownies!!

Raw Brownie batter ready to go in the oven
  • Crushed Oreos in the food processor

While the brownies were cooling a bit I moved on to the No Bake Cookie dough recipe.

  • No Bake Cookie Dough
No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

OMG, This stuff is so good, its hard to stay out of it!! But I knew the payoff would be worth it;)!! So set this side for just a second!

Now for the OREOS!! Lets prep the Oreos so everything is ready to go! For this step I just put a few generous handfuls into the food processor to crumble them up!

  • Oreos
  • Crushed Oreos in the food processor
Crushing OREOS

Now it was time to make the brownie dough! Don’t even worry about cleaning out any Oreo Crumbs! A few crumbs wont be noticeable here, so save the step! So Brownie dough… I make this just like I make cake dough. Just stick it into the food processor!

  • Brownies food processor to make Brownie Dough
  • Brownie Dough made in the Food Processor
Making brownie dough!

This is how it happens! Just put it in and turn it on until it looks like the picture on the right :).

OK now we have all the pieces, its time to put them together!! Take Both the Brownie Dough and the No bake chocolate chip cookie dough…

Brownie and cookie dough for Slutty Brownie Cake Pops

I am going to squish these together, and spread it out into the frame here. The bottom half will be brownie and the top half, cookie dough. Just like this:

Slutty Brownie Cake Pop Dough frame

Hard to tell, but under that cookie dough is a layer of Brownie Dough 🙂

Next I use the Easy Roller to make a bunch of balls all at once! Here is how that works:

Remove the frame and place the dough onto the Easy Roller.

The lid is then used to cut the dough into “logs.” Remove “logs from Easy Roller.

Replace three of the “Logs” onto the Easy Roller. One at the bottom, one in the middle of the board, and one in-between the two!

Next with the lid covering all three “logs” slide back and forth 3-4 times swiftly and remove the lid!

Slutty brownie cake pop Balls in Easy Roller

Voila!! 21 at a time!!

Remove these little balls of deliciousness into a holding dish so you can roll out the rest with the Easy Roller!

Supplies for this next step: Lollipop Sticks, Candy Melts, Oreo Crumbs, and these amazingly delicious doughy rounds!

Slutty Brownie Cake Pop dipping supplies

Melt the white chocolate candy melts in the microwave on defrost or 50% power in 30 second increments. Stirring each time. It will probably take 2-3 times into the microwave to melt.

Dip the lollipop sticks into the candy melts and then into the dough balls.

Then dip the entire ball into the candy melts and tap off any excess.

Next, immediately roll the pop into the crushed Oreos!

Place these either in a cake pop stand or on to wax paper (upside down) to set up! As soon as the outer shell hardens it is time to enjoy these little “Slutty Brownie Pops”

Tall Army Men Cake & “Camo” Cake Pops

in Cake Pop Decorating Tutorials / by jcucci2727
October 30, 2019

If you want to learn how to make this Tall Army Men Cake & “Camo” Cake Pops stick with me! I love making custom birthday or occasion cakes and then pairing it with matching cake pops. Besides, what else are you going to do with all the cake scraps!

This Tall Army Men Drip Cake might just be one of my favorite tall cakes to date!! Just look at that texture<3 <3!  And check out those matching “Camo” Cake Pops I made with the Easy Roller!!

Let’s get started by making the cakes!  I have 2 Fat Daddio’s pans in each size to help speed things up! However, I do wish I had 4 of the 8 inch ones!!

Doctored Cake Mixes are my jam for my decorated custom cakes! They are sturdy enough to stack and there isn’t too much extra thinking involved;)! To one box cake mix just add the following:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 package of instant pudding mix
  • 1/3 cup of oil
  • 1/2 cup of Sour Cream

For this tall army men 8″ cake, I baked 4 boxes of cake!  Each cake I split between the 2 pans for baking.

Cutting and filling the cake is first.  I always make each tier 4 layers of cake. To do this with precision I use the Agbay to cut each baked cake into equal layers. My standard is to cut off the rounded top and about 1/8″ off the very bottom. No one likes the darker bottom edge of the cake do they?! **Don’t worry, I don’t throw those away, these are the “cake scraps” I use them for the cake pops!!

I have the Agbay Jr and LOVE IT! Sometimes wish I would have gotten the bigger one, but so far, so good with the Jr.  If I ever make a cake 14″ in diameter I may have to invest! This is one of those “cake tools” I couldn’t make stacked or designer cakes without! It brings your cakes into the professional ranks without having to practice splitting cakes. Because splitting cakes is a TRICK, trust me!  I mean look at this… If you can figure out a ruler you can use this. And more importantly get the SAME results!

Next I filled the layers with vanilla buttercream and crumb coated the outside!

Heavenly Cake Pops Easy Roller Gummy Bear Pinata Cake Agbay

**I forgot to take a picture, but when you stack cakes on top of each other you need support so they don’t topple over or crush the layers underneath! This Army Men  cake is a “double barrel” or “Tall Tier” meaning you take the same size cake tiers and stack them on top of each other to look like one tall cake!

So to support the cake, I stack the cake layers about 4 inches high on a 8″ cardboard then insert wooden dowels in the cake. Then the next cardboard cake circle (with the next filled cake layers) will go on top of the supported cake tier.  Next go around with your frosting and crumb coat the cake and set it in the fridge to harden up. It should look like this after crumb coating:

Double Barrel Cake

Double Barrel Cake, crumb coated and setting in the fridge.

Next I took my 8.5″ acrylic discs and put one on either end of the cake (both tiers together) and filled it with butter cream and scraped off the excess so it was smooth! Again, I forgot to take pictures but here is a couple pictures with chocolate instead;)!

Just put as much buttercream (Or ganache works just as good!) and use a bench scraper that will be long enough to hit both discs at once and it will smooth it out just perfect!

Put it in the fridge to set, then the best way I have found to take them off is to just use fishing line! I wrap it around the bottom edge of the disk and just pull it around! It comes right off 🙂

Now for the fun part!! Decorating!!

I took a scoop of buttercream and put it into a small bowl to color them! Using a dark green, almost black, a regular forest green, brown, and then I mixed brown and green to get that color in the back! The color I ended up using more of the darkest color and regular green color! Also This is about a cup of each color…. WAY TOO MUCH;)!! I could have done like 1/4 of a cup:)

With the smallest amount of frosting on the back of the pallet knife (part of the cheap $4 paint brush pack you can get at WalMart) I spread the buttercream on the cake in small downward motions.

Then just trade off colors! No need to clean the knife or be too careful, it actually helps the blending process:) I left the top white so I could do a white chocolate ganache drip.  To make it, I boiled 4 ounces of heavy cream and added to to 12 ounces of White Chocolate wafers (I love Winco!). Whisk to combine!  As soon it was cool to the touch I put it in a zip lock bag and cut off the tip.  Then with the cake on a turn table I went around the outside adding drips!  Then filled in the center with the rest of the ganache.

Now its time to play!! Adding the Army guys into little situations… I have this little “sniper” on the edge…

This Army Guy is helping another army guy up to his position (with the help of a Pull and Peel Twizzler!!) See the tanker in the background, this is in case they need to get around;)!

These 2 are holding their post behind a wall of soft caramels;)!

These guys are all surrounding the cake;)!  The dirt you see? That is chocolate chip cookie crumbs!

Now if you remember in the beginning we cut off the tops and bottoms of the cakes before we stacked it!  Instead of throwing those out, or snacking on them;) we make cake pops out of them!!

Now For the Camo Cake Pops!

These “Camo” or Camouflage cake pops were perfect for this cake!! With the Easy Roller, it is really easy to turn all those cake scraps into extra profit, or if this is a hobby, just extra treats:)!! The Easy Roller Rolls 21 cake pops at once!! That’s like having the whole neighborhood over to help roll cake balls!  So don’t forget to Check out our Easy Roller (or our new Mini Easy Roller!) It is how we keep these tutorials coming:)!!

If you want to see exactly how to make these cool “camo” cake pops, hop over to my post here:)!!

Now one last thing! If you sell cakes or cake pops, it is so important to get good photos of your work!!  It is how people know what you are capable of doing 🙂  I cannot tell you how many counter top photos I have, but never again!!  Now that I have found these Replica Surfaces I can take photos and eliminate all the background noise of the microwave or oven, or that spoon in the background that I didn’t see until the cake was gone and the pictures were uploaded!! I love these!! They are super light weight, easy to store, portable, and work perfect!! I thought they might be too mall for this cake, but I was pleasantly surprised!! Here is one of the behind the scene photos and how it looked in camera! <3

I hope you give this Tall Cake and Camo Cake Pops a try! I’d love to see them! You can send me a message on Facebook or Pinterest! I will see them there first:).  Also, don’t forget to check out my Easy Roller too! Because that’s how we keep these posts coming 🙂

Rib Cage Skeleton Cake Pops

in Cake Pop Decorating Tutorials / by jcucci2727
October 21, 2019

Here you will learn to make cake pops! More specifically, Rib Cage Skeleton Cake Pops!

To get started, bake your favorite cake recipe. If you are just making cake pops, one box of cake will make about 30 cake pops if you are using the standard Easy Roller.  If you don’t have the Easy Roller yet, think ping pong ball size once they are dipped.

You can also take all the tops and bottoms from a decorated cake, yesterday’s cupcakes, or even a store bought cake! Just crumble and knead it down until it is a pliable dough.  Think the consistency of Play-Doh;)!  You can do this by hand (you also will need a bit of frosting this way). However, it’s faster, and easier on the wrists if you just put your cake into the mixer or food processor. Just leave it in there until it turns to dough! No Frosting needed! However, if you’re looking for some extra sweetness, or special flavor, go ahead and add it all in at once!

Cake Pop Dough Made by Food Processor

Next take that dough and roll them into balls.  We do this step with the help of the Easy Roller! It can roll an entire cake in no time at all, since it rolls 21 cake balls at one time & they are all the same size! Here is how it works if you haven’t seen or heard of it yet!

…if you don’t make cake pops often but you still would like to make them faster our newest “Mini” Easy Roller is now available! (This one rolls 9 at a time!) Once all your cake is rolled into balls dip them into melted candy melts. To prepare the candy melts, place the candy melts in a microwave safe container and place it into the microwave on 50% power (or defrost) for 1 minute, take it out of the microwave and stir. Put the bowl back in the microwave at 50% power, in 30 second increments until fluid)!

Tap off the excess and place them on wax paper until the chocolate sets.

Next, microwave about an ounce of white candy melts (on 50% power, in 30 second increments) until fluid and pour it into a sandwich bag.  Then cut off the tip of one corner.

Draw a line vertically down the front and the back:

Then you just connect these lines in a “c” shape:

Continue until you have no more room!

Next connect them on the other side:

Then Make the “sternum” a little thicker where they meet and Enjoy!!

As always if you like these tutorials and want to see more please “like” and “share” our Easy Roller or New Mini Easy Roller with your co-workers, friends and family!  It is how we keep them coming, it also means the WORLD to me:)!!

How about “Diet Cake Pops?” I have been making cake pops for years now and by accident some time ago I started making “diet cake pops!”

Your typical/basic cake pop recipe is a box cake mix, baked as per the directions and then crumbed down and kneaded with some canned frosting. Of course you can get fancy and add homemade frosting or some other “Binder” or use your best scratch cake recipe, but for the most part cake pops are cake mixed with frosting until you get to a pliable dough you can roll into balls and dip into chocolate.

So how do I make these “diet” cake pops you ask?! Read more →

Chocolate Tool Box with CakePops

in Cake Pop Decorating Tutorials / by jcucci2727
May 26, 2020

This Chocolate Tool Box with CakePops for tools is what I made for a carpenter. This is also a fun idea for Father’s Day?! This is almost completely edible! Besides the little cake pop holder insert on the inside and the cake board it sits on;)!

Things I used to make the tool box portion was a wood grain mold, and disposable cake pop stand from BRP Box Shop, 2 cardboard cake Circles, washi tape, a metal straight edge, almond bark and a pretzel rod.

First I measured the cake pop stand against the chocolate mold so I could see how big I wanted to make it. I didn’t worry too much about getting it perfect but I knew bigger was better than smaller. You can always cut away what is too big!

Melt your chocolate almond bark on 50% power in 30 second increments, stirring in between. Then spoon or pour it onto the mat.

Chocolate Tool Box Build 2 spreading chocolate

I wanted the inside to be smooth, so before it set I put a peice of wax paper over the melted chocolate and gave it a light roll with the rolling pin. This will smooth it out. Be careful not to press too hard and thin out the chocolate. If it is too thin it will be fragile.

Chocolate Tool Box Build, smooth out chocolate over the wood grain mold

Once it is set you can remove the wax paper. Then I heated up a metal straight edge to trim the chocolate panel.

Chocolate Tool Box Build, heating up metal straight edge

Now it is very easy to trim the panel to size.

Then just repeat this process until you have enough panels to complete the build! I made 6 panels. I made 1 to go up against each side of the disposable cake pop BRP Box (4 total), and then another 2 for the top side portion that the pretzel went through!

Don’t you just hate when you forgot a picture!! But I used a tiny circle cutter to cut the hole out of the top portion for the pretzel to go through!

Next it was time to “glue” the panels together! I used just melted alond bark for this step. I put the melted chocolate into my fancy piping bag (aka sandwich baggy with tip cut off;)) and “glued” each corner.

For the top portion, I wanted it to be at a slight angle. To do this I filled up a tall glass with water and placed it inside the box. This way I had support for the chocolate panel until “the glue” had set. I really “glued” this portion so it was really sturdy!

Next to cover all my seams I used some chocolate buttercream! My favorite buttercream recipe is equal parts butter & Crisco, a tbsp of vanilla, and about 3 cups of powder sugar (or till the consistency is firm enough to hold a shape).

I used a 1B tip.

And piped a zig-zag line over all the seams!

Next to make the cake pops!

To make these pops you will need to bake a cake. Then let it cool and turn it into dough by either kneading that down to a doughy consistency. The food processor is the fastest, but you can do it by hand too. Just mix it up with some of your favorite binder, like buttercream, jam, pudding, the list is endless;)!! If you do use the food processor, all you need is the cake, check it out:

Cake Pop Dough Made by Food Processor
Cake Pop Dough Made by Food Processor

Then roll them out into little 1.25″ balls.  Of course to knock this boring part out in no time flat, may I suggest you take a look at the Easy Roller and roll up to 21 cake balls at a time;)!!

Once you have all your cake balls rolled to 1.25″ in diameter (about the size of a ping-pong ball) dip them into your candy melts or almond bark. Before they set I rolled these cake pops into crushed oreo, coconut flakes and crushed peanuts! Then let them set!

Now it is just time to “glue” 2 cake circles together (for extra support.) I used washi tape around the edge to cover the exposed cardboard. Then the disposable BRP Box Shop cake pop stand to the cake cardboard circle. Fill up the stand with the cake pops and slide a pretzel rod through the top!

Football Cake Pops

How is it possible I have never written a post about how to make Football cake pops?! With Football being so wildly popular these are some of the first cake pops I have ever made!

These are so easy!

Once you have the cake dough rolled into balls, pinch either side to make a point on each end!

Then dip the stick into the melted chocolate and into the cake ball. Then dip the entire pop into the melted chocolate. From here, you can then go 2 different ways! Either place them upright into a cake pop stand to set

…or downward facing onto wax paper to set. If you are new to cake pops, or just in a hurry I recommend placing them on wax paper!

Once the chocolate has set I just add the details in white! I melt the white candy melts in the same way (on 50% power). When the candy melts have melted I pour them into a sandwich bag and snip off the tip (just a tiny tiny bit!) The smaller the hole the more control you will have!

I start with the sides. One line across each tip. Instead of “Drawing” this line, I squeeze out the melts in an even flow (with wax paper underneath to catch drips) and pass the cake pop under the flow. The line is straighter and more consistent.

Then I make one horizontal line across the top for the laces. Wait for this line to set before moving on or it will all just puddle together! Then when it is dry just make perpendicular lines! If you want to be technical I believe each football as a certain amount of laces, but I don’t get that specific;)!!

Thats it! These are pretty straight forward and easy! Football cake pops are the perfect game day treat!

I hope you give these football Cake Pops a try! I’d love to see them! You can send me a message on Facebook or Pinterest! I will see them there first:).  Also, don’t forget to check out my Easy Roller too! Because that’s how we keep these posts coming 🙂
